Simultaneous Interpretation
Since simultaneous interpreting does not interfere in the length of the event, this type of interpretation is most commonly used in summits, conferences, multilingual meetings, training courses, and conventions. It is recommended for large-scale events that include the participation of speakers and audiences from different countries.
In a soundproof booth, the interpreter listens through headphones to what is being said in one language by the speaker, and translates it simultaneously into another language.
We have a team of experienced professionals who are always ready to interpret accurately the message of your guest speakers.
Consecutive interpretation
The success of a business meeting or a training course involving people of different nationalities depends on an effective and smooth communication process.
In this type of interpretation, the interpreter sits at the conference table in order to see and hear what the speaker is doing and saying. The interpreter takes notes as the speakers gives his/her presentation, and renders what has been said into the other language. This process should be repeated in intervals of up to five minutes, always respecting the speakers train of thought.
It is important to remember that the interpreter will use roughly the same amount of time that it took the speaker to deliver his/her message, therefore increasing the total duration of the event. Consecutive interpreting is recommended for short or medium-duration events only.
